Once you have signed up sucessfully for you hosting service you will receive an email containing all the information you need to start adding content to your web site. If you have choosen an ecommerce package you will be able to start adding product or services and begin selling right away!
Important: You will receive instructions telling you how to prepare your domain record so that you will be able to utilize our services. These instructions tell you how to list DNS or Nameservers on your domain record. Once this is done and your domain record has fully propogated, your domain URL will be recognized when it is entered into a visitors web browser. If you are unsure about this we can assist you!
How long will it take before my domain name is recognized on the Internet?
After updating your domain record with the proper DNS or Nameserver information it generally takes between 24 and 48 hours to fully propogate. In many cases this begins in as little as an hour or two. The reason this is needed is because your domain record contains the information so that when a visitor enters your URL they are correctly directed to your hosted web site. It is similar to having the address of a person you are going to visit. These directions once entered into your domain record take up to 48 hours to be distributed worldwide across the Internet.
After signing up what do I do?
After you successfully complete your sign up you will be sent instructions on how to access and administer your web site, email accounts and a number of other capabilities.
